New tool means a single MRI scan can be used to estimate Pace of Aging

A new groundbreaking tool has been developed that estimates a persons pace of aging and their risk of functional decline.
Called DunedinPACNI, the noninvasive MRI-based biomarker can quantify the rate of biological aging of people in midlife to forecast risks for dementia, chronic disease, and death in older adulthood DunedinPACNI is an MRI-based biomarker
