cannabisreferendum.co.nz - Evidence to inform voters in the 2020 cannabis referendum

"A leading international authority on cannabis use and abuse recently noted that New Zealand was blessed with two of the world’s richest sources of information about the natural history of cannabis use. The Dunedin and Christchurch cohort studies have both studied approximately 1000 people from birth into their 40’s, capturing in detail key developmental periods and patterns of cannabis use. Together they have produced an evidence based open access publication to inform voters ahead of cannabis referendum."

This is based on their findings collated in Royal Society of New Zealand publication Patterns of recreational cannabis use in Aotearoa-New Zealand and their consequences: evidence to inform voters in the 2020 referendum

A new website has been launched that highlights the consequences of using cannabis and inform voters ahead of the referendum. cannabisreferendum.co.nz
